Swoyambunath, also known as ‘Monkey Temple,’ is full of symbolism and is one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal. The Buddhist temple offers an incredible view of Kathmandu. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world. We’ll see monks and devotees circumnavigating the stupa. Pasupatinath Temple is the most famous Hindu temple in the country. You can see sadhus (holy men) meditating, pilgrims bathing, and bodies being cremated on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Patan and Bhaktapur are two of the three archaic Newari cities inside Kathmandu Valley, renowned for their rich cultural heritage and arts. While in Patan, we will visit Patan Durbar Square and Krishna Mandir. In Patan, we visit Patan Durbar Square, an ancient Newari kingdom full of eloquent architecture. Patan Durbar Square consists of a two storey edifice with gilded roofs and a stone paved courtyard. The museum inside Patan Durbar Square helps us in knowing the cultural and political history of Patan. Krishna Mandir, built in 1637 by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla is a Shikhara fashioned stone temple. We will first visit Changu Narayan and then drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Changu Narayan is the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu - the Protector God which is located in the village of Changu. Changu Narayan Temple with its beautiful sculpture and wood and stone carvings is believed to have been built 1600years ago. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the collection of Pagoda and Shikhar style temples grouped around fifty- five window Palace of brick and wood. While in the square, we will visit the Golden Gate, Nyatapol Temple and a museum. Nepal Weekend Tour will leave you with many rejoicing memories that you will not forget throughout your life.

A representative of ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu and take you to your hotel where you will be shortly notified about your daily itinerary. A welcome Dinner will be served in the late evening. Overnight at hotel.
Kathmandu Valley includes several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath (famous Hindu temple and cremation ground) Boudhanath (massive Buddhist stupa). We can also visit Swyambhunath, also known as Monkey Temple, which was built roughly 2000 years ago. In the afternoon, you will be meeting with your trekking guide to check all the necessary things. Overnight stay at the hotel.
