Nepal Sunrise Tour at ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ is 5 - day long tour package specially tailored with sole purpose of providing the esteemed visitors with the chance to have a mesmerizing views of sunrise and sunset over the majestic snow-clad mountains.  Nepal is a small country which nestles amid the secure arms of mountains. Thus Nepal is fast emerging as the happening destination for sunrise and sunset viewing. Nepal Sunrise Tour incorporates exploring the cultural heritages of Kathmandu Valley with appreciating the natural marvels in Nepal.

The tour kicks of in Kathmandu, where you will explore the city's several UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambunath (also known as Monkey Temple), and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.  Each place is rich in culture and history.  Swoyambunath is full of symbolism and is one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal (over 2000 years old!). The Buddhist temple offers an incredible view of Kathmandu. Pasupatinath Temple is the most famous Hindu temple in the country.  You can see sadhus (holy men) meditating, pilgrims bathing, and bodies being cremated on the banks of the Bagmati River.  Last, but not least, Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an ancient Newari kingdom located just outside of Kathmandu, on the way to Nagarkot. From Bhaktapur, we take a short drive to Nagarkot, arriving in time for the sunset.  Nagarkot is absolutely stunning and you'll get a clear view of the Himalayan range from here.  The next day, you'll be up early to watch the sunrise behind these pristine peaks.  Nepal Sunrise Tour takes shape by unlocking the mysteries of Kathmandu- the political, social and economic hub of Nepal which takes us through the UNESCO enlisted heritages like Swayambhunath which is a Buddhist Stupa which also serves as the vantage point for having picturesque view of Kathmandu Valley, Pashupatinath- the most revered temple of Hindus dedicated to Lord Shiva and Basantapur Durbar-the former Royal Residence. Nepal Sunrise Tour proceeds further through medieval city of Bhaktapur to Nagarkot that offers the spectacular view of mountains and is popular among tourists for the captivating image of sunrise and sunset over Himalayas.

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the Adventure Himalayan representatives will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. After refreshment, you will be briefed in short about your tour by our guide or tour leader.  If you have any questions or doubts about your trip then they should be asked and clarified at this time. Overnight stay at hotel.
 

    Kathmandu Valley includes several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath (famous Hindu temple and cremation ground) Boudhanath (massive Buddhist stupa). We can also visit Swyambhunath, also known as Monkey Temple, which was built roughly 2000 years ago.  Finally, we can visit Patan, city of fine arts. In the afternoon, you will be meeting with your trekking guide and will check all the necessary things. Overnight stay at the hotel.
     

      On the 3rd day of the Nepal Sunrise Tour, we will head for Nagarkot - a popular destination among visitors for Sunrise and Sunset Viewing. En route, we will stop by the Medieval Newari City of Bhaktapur and get acquainted with its architectural wonders of the Golden Gate, 55 - Windowed Palace and Nyatapol Temple. We will visit an Art Gallery and Pottery Square before we continue our journey towards the World Heritage Site of Changu Narayan. Then, we arrive to Nagarkot in time for the sunset. Overnight at Nagarkot.

        After seeing the amazing sunrise view over Himalayas, we will return back to Kathmandu for any sights we may have missed the first exploration day.  You can also use this time however you please. We'll have a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in hotel. 

          After you're packed and ready to go, our representative from ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels and Treks’ will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport. We bid you farewell and hope to serve you again.
