Muktinath Helicopter Tour from Kathmandu is the enthralling experience, where you'll have a bird’s eye view over the mountainous landscapes of Muktinath Region. ‘Muktinath’ is a Sanskrit term which comprises two words ‘Mukti’ and ‘Nath' meaning 'place for salvation.' It is a firm belief common among Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims that paying homage to the holy premises of the Muktinath Region will free their soul from vicious circle of birth and death. Hindus take this world for Maya (an illusion) and their sole aim is to achieve Nirvana so that they won’t have to undergo through sufferings repeatedly and can rest eternally in the holy feet of Godhead.
Muktinath is often regarded as Muktichhetra, one of the four major religious sites of Nepal which is also famous for its Shaligram (Ammonite). Shaligram is the holy stone which according to Hindus hold soul of Lord Vishnu. Muktinath is one of 108 Vaishnava Shrines which apart from religious significance holds immense potential for its spectacular scenery. Against a backdrop of incredible starkness, you can gaze into the snow covered Annapurna Range to the south and Tibetan plateau towards the north.

Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan Airport pick up from airport, transfer to Hotel. After brief visit to Pashupatinath temple, the holiest shrine for the Hindus in Nepal, one of very famous temple in the world known as the Lord Shiva. Every evening, there will Arati at 6:15pm, which we will see. After darshan, we head back to hotel and overnight.
Kathmandu Valley includes several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath (famous Hindu temple and cremation ground) Boudhanath (massive Buddhist stupa). We can also visit Swyambhunath, also known as Monkey Temple, which was built roughly 2000 years ago. Finally, we can visit Patan, city of fine arts. In the afternoon, you will be meeting with your trekking guide and will check all the necessary things. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to the domestic airport and fly from Kathmandu to Muktinath by Helicopter, landing at Ranipauwa (3710m). Then we take a short walk to Muktinath temple 3800m). If you cannot walk, you can hire motorbike or horse ride until the main entrance of Muktinath, it takes 7 min by motorbike & 15 min by Horse ride, Muktinath is a place of Salvation, and it holds great significance for all spiritual people in the south Asian sub continent. Take a holy bath in the 108 waterspouts, name of “Muktidhara” & Holy bath in Mukti Kunda (2 Kunda in front of Temple). Hindu devotees believe that by bathing under chilled water of 108 waterspouts “Muktidhara” & Mukti Kunda, they will attain salvation. Have darshan and worship to Muktinath, and walk to Jwalamai Temple, back to Ranipauwa where the helicopter is waiting. We fly back to Kathmandu by helicopter, arrive and transfer to hotel where we stay for the night.
