Itinerary
On arrival in New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport, our representative would meet you and transfer you to Kalimpong 85 Km/3 hrs. Kalimpong is well known for its many educational institutions and has become an important tourist destination owing to its temperate climate and proximity to popular tourist locations in the region. Kalimpong is famous for its flower market, especially the wide array of orchids. Flower nurseries involved in exporting Himalayan grown flower bulbs, tubers and rhizomes contribute to the economy of Kalimpong. It also houses several Buddhist monasteries which hold a number of rare Tibetan Buddhist scriptures. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Relax and fresh up. Rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay is in hotel at Kalimpong.
After breakfast, we take you for a the sightseeing trip of Kalimpong including Dello hills, Pine View Nursery, Dr. Grahams Home , Mangal Dham , Rishi Bankim Park , Zelepla View point and Buddhist monastery. In the afternoon, we transfer you to Gangtok (85 Km/3hrs) - the bustling, friendly hill station of Sikkim. On arrival at Gangtok, check in to the hotel. Relax there. Dinner and overnight stay is in hotel at Gangtok.
After breakfast get outside to see Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and Rumtek Monastery, Banjhakari Falls, Tashi View Point etc. Dinner and overnight stay is in hotel at Gangtok.
Early in the morning, we take you to an excursion trip to Tsongo Lake or Changu Lake which is a glacial lake in East Sikkim, and Baba Harbhajan Temple- a temple made and revered by soldiers to owner a famous Indian Army officer named Captain Baba Harbhajan Singh. Overnight stay and dinner is in hotel.
Optional tour to Nathu La Pass on prior request
Nathu La Pass is a mountain pass in the Himalayas which connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass is at 4,310 m (14,140 ft.) above mean sea level, and forms a part of the ancient Silk Road. Visit to Nathu La Pass depends on availability of permits and road conditions. For visiting Nathu La Pass, a special permission is required from Indian Army. Please note that the pass is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays every week and in the winter.
After breakfast, we transfer you to Pelling (130 kms/4 hours). Pelling gives a spectacular views of the Mount Kanchandzonga, the Guardian Deity of Sikkim and the world’s third highest mountain along with other sister mountains bowing before the Godly figure in reverence. Pelling is an ideal getaway for tourists as its vicinity has numerous waterfalls, soft trek routes, villages and soothing atmosphere for all discerning. Dinner and overnight stay is in hotel at Pelling.
After breakfast, we take you to Pemayangtse monastery, Khecheopalri Lake and Sangay waterfall. Dinner and overnight stay is in hotel at Pelling.
After breakfast we transfer you to Darjeeling (120 Km/4 hrs.). On arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is meant for relaxation or you can go for a joy train ride in Toy Train (optional). In the evening, you can visit the local market for buying something special of the place. Dinner and overnight stay is in hotel at Darjeeling.
Very early in the morning, we take you to Tiger Hill to catch a glimpse of sunrise over Kanchandzonga (Subject to clear weather conditions). On the way back you can see Ghoom monastery and Batasia Loop. Later in the day after breakfast, we take you to some of the famous spots in Darjeeling such as HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Zoological Gardens, and Dhirdham temple, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing, Gombu Rock, Peace Pagoda and Japanese temple. Dinner and overnight stay is in hotel at Darjeeling.
After breakfast, we transfer you to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport (100 km/4 hours) for your return/onward journey. NOTE: Availability of the above quoted hotels are strictly subject to change at the time of reporting the booking due to high occupancy.
