Our Cultural Heritage and wildlife Tour is a perfect all-around journey through Nepal. The 9-day tour takes us through Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Pokhara and Chitwan. The tour kicks of in Kathmandu, where you will explore the city's several UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambunath (also known as Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur and Nagarkot. Each place is rich in culture and history. Swoyambunath is full of symbolism and is one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal (over 2000 years old!). The Buddhist temple offers an incredible view of Kathmandu. Pasupatinath Temple is the most famous Hindu temple in the country. You can see sadhus (holy men) meditating, pilgrims bathing, and bodies being cremated on the banks of the Bagmati River. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world. Here we can see monks and devotees circumnavigating the stupa. Kathmandu Durbar Square is an old palace of the former Kathmandu Kingdom. Finally Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an ancient Newari kingdom located just outside of Kathmandu, on the way to Nagarkot. It is one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley.

Later that day, we take a short drive to Nagarkot, arriving in time for the sunset. Nagarkot is absolutely stunning and you'll get a clear view of the Himalayan range from here. The next day, you'll up for an early morning breakfast to watch the sunrise behind these pristine peaks. It is a hill resort popular for having an extensive view of Kathmandu Valley, Mt. Everest, Manaslu, Gauri Shankar and other ountains of Eastern Nepal.

Then, enjoy the 10 minute cable car ride up to Manakamana Temple, a famous worship site for Hindus. The same day, we reach Chitwan National Park, famous for its biodiversity. Take a ride on the back of an elephant and possibly see rhinoceros, deer, wild boars, and even a Bengal tiger. There is plenty to do in Chitwan National Park, so use your days wisely. We'll also have delicious food and a get to experience a traditional Tharu dance. This package is a perfect way to make the most of your eight days in Nepal. The final destination is Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city and popular destination for adventure tourism. We head to Sarangkot for an exquisite tour of several famous sites: Bindawasini Temple, Davi's Fall, Gupteswar Cave, and Seti Gorge.

Bindawasini Temple: Bindawasini is one of the most popular temples in Pokhara. The temple is dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, another manifestation of Shakti. Bindawasini is the mother goddess who fulfills the wishes of her devotees.  Davi's Fall: Locally known as the Patale Chhango, Davi's Fall (also known as Devin's and David's) is a lovely waterfall lying about two km south-west of the Pokhara Airport on the Siddhartha Highway.

This cave is a sacred and natural cave where there is temple of Lord Shiva. Seti Gorge: Another of Pokhara's natural wonders that unfailingly interests visitors is the Seti River. Amazingly, at certain points the river appears hardly two meters wide. But its depth is quite beyond imagination over 20 meters.
Mountains Museum: Mountains and Mountaineering have a history of their own. Without preserving it, It will not be long before all the records and evidences will be lost forever. Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), established on 1Nov 1973, initiated the establishment of international Mountain Museum(IMM) in Pokhara. The basic objective for its establishment was made to record, document and chronicle the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world in general and to preserve the saga of the momentous feats in the history of mountaineering in the Himalayan peaks in particular. In evening leisure, overnight stay at Hotel.

After breakfast, you will then drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes around five to six hours. rating

The tour was very good. Tour company owner and our primary contact Rana and our driver Dinesh were very good to deal with. Rana picked us up from the airport and sat us down to explain what to expect for the next 7 days on our tour. We went in August, which happens to be the rainy season, and thus was not a busy season, so it eneded up being a private tour. We had the same driver throughout the tour, but our guides changed at each destination. And they were all very good to deal with. Knowing the standard of accommodations isn't what we were used to, we paid a little bit extra to upgrade to 4 star hotels, and it was definitely worth it. I strongly recommend doing that. Just the upgraded views make it worth it. The one major complaint I have about Nepal is thier roads. It took us 10hrs to drive 250 kilometres. I wouldn't even call it a road, it's just a series of potholes that you need to drive over very slowly. Our driver Dinesh did an excellent job of navigating them, but it did seem like we were spending a large chuck of every other day just driving. The distance we covered isn't large, but because the roads are atrocious, what should have taken 3-4hrs, routinely took more than twice that long. But we had a good time in Nepal despite the drives, and I would definitely recommend Ranas company any day if you choose to go to Nepal. He is very attentive to his customers needs, that's for sure.

Rana was very welcoming and hospitable. Flying from the UK as a solo female traveller , I was a little nervous, however Rana made me feel at ease and my driver and tour guides throughout the tour were friendly and accommodating and trustworthy, I felt safe and in good hands. I would highly recommend Rana’s tour company to everyone
