My private guide was top moch looked after the trekking setting up the room with the sleeping bag and extra blankets.ordering meals for set times so no waiting.early starts so early afternoon finish so a rest before evening meal know all the trails.i would tell anybody who wants a private to have him just tell him how hard you want to go this way He can place the trek.you have to tell that's it at night your going to bed He's a 24 hour guide ready to try and get all your needs if possible.i would have him again if I was planning another trip but at 74 yes old not to may.

The trip was extremely well planned . I got to see and do all the sites as described in the tour package. I had a personal driver who was incredible. If I wanted to divert from the tour and include other activities this was so easily accommodated at little if any expense The booking procedure was easy and all questions and queries was answered incredible promptly the tour manager Rana Bahadur Khadka was extremely hospitable and accommodating. The highlight was the safari where I got to see a rhino up close in the forest. This was due to the amazing knowledgeable guide Santa ku mar tamang

Mr. Rana picked me up from the airport in Kathmandu and took me to the Hotel Kailash Kutee in Thamel. The room at the hotel was very nice, breakfast on the 7th floor on the terrace and Thamel with all facilities right outside the door. Perfect base camp in Kathmandu!
The first day was spent recovering from jet lag and sightseeing. I could use Rana's car for this, his driver took me from the hotel to Boudhanath stupa and Swayambhunath temple and waited for me there respectively. This was of course much more pleasant than looking for cabs myself and negotiating the price with the drivers.
There were no other participants for the trek to Kanchenjunga in the mid of November, so I got a private tour there, which was overall very well organized. Round trip flight to Badhrapur, jeep rides and accommodation was planned and booked by Adventure Himalayan Travels & Treks or my porter guide, it all went smoothly. The Kanchenjunga tour is not yet as touristy as Everest or Annapurna, but one experience the original Nepal. The trekking was super nice (also exhausting) and I will always keep it in best memory.
After returning from trekking, I had booked 2 additional days at the hotel. Again, I could use Rana's car including driver, who drove me 40 km southeast to the Namo Buddha monastery (one of the absolute highlights in the Kathmandu Valley) and to Bhaktapur to visit the city center.
Conclusion: I needed time flexibility for my trekking, had special wishes regarding sightseeing and duration of my vacation. Adventure Himalayan Travels & Treks organized all this very well, I can absolutely recommend this agency.
The trekking to Kanchenjunga was my third tour in Nepal (after Everest and Annapurna) and I will definitely come back, there are many other beautiful paths to hike (Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Makalu, Langtang, Mustang, …).

Rana was wonderful to work with on my diverse Nepali program. I started with a few out of the ordinary places in Kathmandu Valley and had a wonderfully knowledgeable guide throughout. I then went on a trek to Tengboche coupled with an absolutely fabulous (Do it!!!) helicopter trip to Kala Pathar. Then went to Lumbini, with a different but equally qualified guide. As time was tight, Rana was able to make it possible that I could fit all that I wanted to do into just a few weeks. This was my fifth time in Nepal and it was as fascinating as the first time. I hope I'll be back!

We have done 11 days trekking in Annapurna region, which was absolutely amazing. The trek was organised perfectly and we are very grateful for that to our guide Durga. Would love to come back for more trekking, and I would defently choose Rana’s agency again.
