Adventure Himalayan Travels and Treks organized a good tour, The manager Rana was quite helpful in answering my questions before the tour and also was quite helpful in making last minute changes to accommodate some of my requests - for eg trying to do a helicopter flight to Annapurna, etc. The guide Sanjaya Khanal was excellent! He was quite knowledgeable and friendly. He made the whole experience quite enjoyable since he gave me great company throughout the whole trip. Sanjaya also helped to arrange paragliding for me at very short notice which was the highlight of my trip. The driver Krishna was also very good and patiently drove us the almost 12 hrs it took to go from Pokhara to Kathmandu (because of Dussehra festival traffic) The one regret I had was not being to go on a mountain flight to Annarpurna/Everest because of weather. But thats not any fault of the tour operator. Some of the hotels in the smaller places (Nagarkot) could have been better, but overall, not bad. Overall I really enjoyed the tour.

Tamang Heritage and Langtang Valley Trek - 15 Days
I thoroughly enjoyed the Tamang Heritage and Langtang National Park Trek. It was a perfect introduction to trekking in Nepal. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds of some of Nepal's other walks. Adventure Himalayan Travels provided me with a first class guide, trouble free airport transfers as well as a safe and well appointed hotel while I was in Kathmandu.

Everest Base Camp and back to Lukla by Helicopter - 12 Days
My husband and I had a fantastic time on the EBC trek. What made it special was our lovely guide Suman who seems to know everyone on the mountains, made our trek pleasant and told us lots of stories and culture. We felt we were well looked after and the portions of the meals were huge. Mr Rana personally welcomed us and we are thankful for his company Adventure Himalayas for organising this unforgettable tour.

Tamang Heritage and Langtang Valley Trek - 15 Days
I shared this trip with three friends and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. We enjoyed amazing landscapes, met many wonderful local people and learnt so much about this great country. Our guide, Bhakta, was extremely helpful and would always find the way to enhance our experience. We really had a great time with him and the two porters. This is a highly recommended trekking, not too hard, to discover an amazing country. I would point out that the sleeping bags were not necessary since all the guest houses provided us with blankets so they were just an extra weight for the porters and took so much space in the duffel bags.

Tamang Heritage and Langtang Valley Trek - 15 Days

Forbidden Lhasa and Everest Base Camp - 9 Days
everything about this tour was more than we could have hoped for. From the moment we were met at Kathmandu airport by Mr. Rana we were completely taken care of. Our permit for Tibet was ready the three days later needed by the Chinese embassy in Kathmandu. We were transferred for our flight to Lhasa and met at hotel in KTM upon our overland return from Tibet. The tour of TIbet with driver and guide followed faithfully our itinerary, the highlight of course being an unobstructed sunrise of the north face of Everest. Our guide was very solicitous of us all the way, always being sure the altitude was OK for us. Both he and the driver were always on time, we travelled many kms. But not tiring. This was the trip of a lifetime, you indeed feel you are at the top on the world in these beautiful mountain valleys surrounded by unforgettable peaks. Unless you want to include Mount Kailish, this 9 day trip was the perfect amount of time, Staying in Lhasa for three nights helped the acclimatization to the altitude, although Everest Base Camp is a bit of a stretch. But the alternative to staying at a hotel two hours away outweighed the discomfort (we did not take diamox and were OK). Overland to Kathmandu from Tibetan border was an experience, but not to be missed. If I was to decide to do this over again, this would be the itinerary, and Adventure Himalayan Travels out of Kathmandu would be the agent. To start in Lhasa and end in KTM is much the best direction, you need to have a week to acclimatize to 5200 m. At Everest, plus the view is better from the north side. This tour rates 100% for organization, facilitation, and the kindness of the people of Kathmandu and Tibet
