The first section of the Trishuli River Rafting starts from Baireni/ Charaudi and its ending point is Gaighat and its river distance is 38 km. The second section of the trek lets you explore the infamous base camp of the world’s tenth highest mountain, Mt. Annapurna I (8,091 m), and its abundant rich tapestry, including the ethnic lifestyles, authentic valleys, and true sense of trekking in the Himalayas, while staying in the tea houses and local lodges opened by locals at the foot of Mt. Annapurna.
In the thrid half of the Annapurna Base Camp with Chitwan National Park, you will find yourself in the raw wilderness of the national park filled with the vibrant amalgamation of a wide range of flora and fauna preserved which once used to be the favorite hunting spot of the royals in old Nepal which is no longer legal in the country.

Upon your arrival at the terminal gate of the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by the airport personnel of Adventure Himalayan Travels and Treks, who will also transport you to your hotel.
Following the refreshments, you will be briefed on your upcoming journey to the Annapurna Base Camp by your tour leader or guide. Make sure you are well informed about the trip at this time.
Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, boasts about seven of the substantial UNESCO World Heritage Site-registered monuments, such as Swyambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Tri-cities of ancient Nepal, and Changu Narayan temple.
Therefore, to adapt to the climate conditions of Nepal, you will be visiting holy Pashupatinath, Boudhnath, and Swaymbhunath, and later on, the trilogy of three old Durbar Squares, to finally meet your travel guide in the afternoon to do the final backpack check and stay overnight at the three-star hotel.
On this day you will drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi (3 to 4 hours). At Charaudi, we hop in the water and experience a few rapids, one being the “Ladise Delight”. Then, after some time we take some rest and have our lunch. After enjoying more rafting, we'll stop for tea or coffee and/or snacks. Overnight stay in a Lodge
We wake up early to take your breakfast and get ready to experience some more whitewater rapids. Technically those rapids are known as “ Bijili Rapid” and “ Tea Pot”. After lunch, we float further to Simaltal. From there we drive to Pokhara. overnight stay in hotel.
Today, the Annapurna Base Camp trek classically begins from Nayapul to reach Tikhedhunga after a short drive from Pokhara through the terraced hillside farmed by the locals under the project of the Annapurna Conservation Area.
Approximately a 3–4 hour hike from the starting point of Nayapul leads you to Tikhedhunga after passing by the scenic paddy fields and landscapes of Bhurungdi Khola to stay overnight in the local lodge or tea house.
The third day of jaunting is to reach the major viewpoint of the Annapurna region, Ghorepani which begins with a steep ascend uphill for about a couple of hours till Ulleri from where the woods of rhododendron and bamboo start to magnificently get visible.
You will take a lunch break in Banthanti that tracks down the trail to the village of Magar communities beautifully sprayed in the middle of the forests of rhododendron where you will call the day, Ghorepani.
This day you will wake up before the crows of the rooster to catch the blazing sunrise over the snow-clad mountains of the Annapurna region: Annapurna I, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail (Machapuchare), and others.
They are as breathtaking as ever, and you are stunned by just a glimpse of them. You descend for breakfast to charge yourself for further marching to Tadapani via Deurali and Banthanti to stay overnight in the tea house.
The route of this day follows the steep downhill from Tadapani moving through the vibrant forest of the national flower of Nepal, the rhododendron which later on crosses the stream to climb the green hill ridge to meet the Gurung village, Chomrong located on the hillside to spend the overnight.
The walkaway this very day is through the bank of the Kali Gandaki River with continuous ups and downs till the Himalayas from Chomrong, which involves crossing the landslide-prone area and the lively woods of rhododendron.
The stone-paved aisle is comparatively easy and catches up with the junctions of two streams called Doban, where you will take a rest for the day at the local lodge.
Your greatest day of the overall trek is here when you will chase the chain of mountains, which looks spectacular even from afar, and finally be at the ultimate serenity of the tenth tallest eight-thousander in the world, Mt. Annapurna (8,091m).
The whole ambiance of the natural amphitheater of the Annapurna region gives one the holy sense of heaven one could ever wish to be in, surrounded by the white Himalayan peaks and a mixture of all sorts of landscapes below to view from 4,130m from the lodging camp.
The descending trek from the Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo begins with the marvelous glowing rays of sunlight on the peaks of Mt. Annapurna and Fishtail in the base camp morning that tail you throughout the day.
You will bid farewell to the Annapurna Base Camp after the delicious breakfast, passing through another famous camp in the Annapurna trekking region, Fishtail Base Camp, until you make it to Bamboo for lodging.
After a 6-hour trek from ABC to Bamboo on the previous day, you will appreciate the 3- to 4-hour short trek that descends up to the Kimrong Khola and begins to ascend after that through the alpine forests of lush bamboo, rhododendron, and oak until Jhinu Danda.
The hot spring from here charms the tired muscles of each trekker at the Annapurna Base Camp and Chitwan National Park, where you will take a relaxing bath while taking in all the scenery, including the notable vegetation, to invest the evening soulfully.
The path of this day trek offers the most chilling walk with plain dust roads along the trailhead of the Modi Khola, which takes the best of three hours to arrive at Ghandruk Phedi to capture a last glimpse at the Annapurna Base Camp route.
Resting here for a while and watching the Gurungs of the village, you will move forth to ride the bus from Nayapul to Pokhara to begin a new journey to Chitwan National Park.
After a comfortable night in Pokhara witnessing the astonishing Pokhara city, you will hop for another most popular stop for tourist activities in Nepal, Chitwan National Park, covering a distance of almost 120km in 4-5 hours, depending upon the road traffic of that day.
Once you make it to Sauraha, you will be blessed with the beautiful sunset when the sun teases you, hiding slowly behind the curtain of the hills from the Rapti River encompassment, where Gharial reptiles, kind of a crocodile species, like to take sunbaths during the day.
The Tharus are the indigenous people of the national park area who love welcoming guests with their cultural dances. You will be part of it in our 14-day Annapurna Base Camp and Chitwan National Park Trek on your first evening in Chitwan and stay overnight at a guest house
The first national park of Nepal, the ancient hunting ground of Nepalese royals, is a symbol of fully flourished and unspoiled adventure and nature, which offers daring jungle safaris, canoe trips, elephant washes, and many more.
Therefore, on the 12th day of the Annapurna Base Camp and Chitwan National Park adventure, you will venture into the never-forgetting wilderness of the national park and take a cozy nap at the guest house closer by
You are almost at the end of the Annapurna Base Camp and Chitwan National Park trek by now, as you take a returning four-wheeler from Pokhara to Kathmandu in around 5 hours to have a celebratory dinner in the typical Nepali restaurant in the capital city.
It is your final night in Kathmandu as per the itinerary set by Adventure Himalayan Travels and Treks. So, we make sure you enjoy your night in Kathmandu as much as possible.
This day, you will say goodbye to the country of hills and mountains, Nepal, to catch up with your loved ones in your home country. Three hours before your scheduled flight, you will be assisted by our representatives with last-minute packing and transportation to the international airport of the country, Tribhuvan.
